Master fire warning light turned on
The same report by the Systems Group reveals that one of the master fire warning lights located on the main instrument panel was turned on. Here is what the report says: "The Master Fire Warning light located on the instrument panel glare shield was recovered with one of the two bulbs intact. Initial laboratory examination has indicated that the light was on at the time of impact. (see Exhibit 38) This warning system is activated by the pilot.
This represents yet another important piece of evidence that points at a pre-impact fire. It is absolutely inconceivable that the CASB's preliminary report not only excluded this evidence, but all other important pieces of information contained In this document. It is little wonder that the ace pilot's wife has begun an action suit and plans to probe deeply into this entire matter.
